Omar is a longtime resident of the Peninsula living in the Palo Alto and Menlo Park area since 1996. He currently resides in the Willows Neighborhood of Menlo Park with his wife and two sons. Omar is an active member of the community participating civically in Menlo Park, volunteering for many school events and the Menlo-Atherton Little League. Omar is a strong supporter of the Menlo Park Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) and is a sitting MPAEF Board Member. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network and Doctors Without Borders.
Omar's hobbies include music, playing guitar, gardening and spending time with his large, extended family.
